1-day Explorer Experience Monday-Thursday 3pm-5:30pm
Wanting to get the Explorer experience but can't commit to a week of Explorer Camp?
Our daily Explorer experience is for campers ages 7-14.
We will be running different age groups on different days:
Blue Herons: Mondays and Wednesdays age 7-10
Ospreys: Tuesdays and Thursdays age 11-14
You can book for one day, two days, once a week, twice a month or whatever days suits your schedule throughout the summer.
EXPLORATION OF THE DAY WILL BE DECIDED BY BOAT CAPTAIN AND/OR LEAD GUIDE, BASED ON WEATHER, TIDE, AND OTHER CONDITIONS.
Activities such as:
- Kayak trip through estuarial waters of Conscience Point preserve, stopping at tidal beaches to go clamming, crabbing, seine netting, and tidal flat exploration.
- Boat trip to explore hidden shores only accessible by boat for clamming, crabbing, seine netting, and tidal flat exploration.
- Aquaculture experience; get hands on at Conscience Point Shellfish hatchery and oyster farm, learn about the benefits of aquaculture to our local ecosystem and how an oyster farm operates.
- Fishing from our Explorer boat in local bays targeting species such as; Fluke, Porgy, Sea Bass, Striped Bass, Blue Fish and more...
Fishing the Forks
With the Peconic Estuary system at our door and Shinnecock Bay just a short boat ride away, we have access to some of the finest fishing on the east coast. Our Coast Guard inspected 33' tour boat provides a stable platform to get us out there, on the fish, and back to home port safely and comfortably.
Aquaculture Experiences
Get hands on experience at a working oyster farm and shellfish hatchery, learn about aquaculture and it's benefits to the ecosystem
Kayak Excursions
Our Kayak excursions are what we are most known for!
Our routes take us through some of the most pristine wetlands on the east end, on the way we stop at Osprey nests, clam bars, and island beaches to explore, catch crabs, pull seine nets and beach comb for natures gifts.
This experience is what East End Explorer was founded on.

Boat Excursions
Our Coast Guard inspected 33' tour boat provides a stable platform to get us to the far reaches of the bays and hidden shores to explore and back to home port safely and comfortably.
