Explorer Experience
Wanting to get the Explorer experience but can't commit to a week of Explorer Camp?
Our Explorer experience is a private guided tour run through our tour company East End Explorer.
You can book for one day, two days, once a week, twice a month or whatever days suits your needs.
EXPLORATION OF THE DAY WILL BE DECIDED BY BOAT CAPTAIN AND/OR LEAD GUIDE, BASED ON WEATHER, TIDE, AND OTHER CONDITIONS.

Activities such as:
- Kayak Trip through Estuarial Waters: Paddle through the scenic estuarial waters of Conscience Point Preserve, stopping at tidal beaches for clamming, crabbing, seine netting, and hands-on tidal flat exploration.
- Boat Trip to Hidden Shores: Set out on a guided boat trip to explore remote shores only accessible by boat, with opportunities for clamming, crabbing, seine netting, and discovering marine life in untouched habitats.
- Fishing Adventures: Cast off from our Explorer boat into local bays, targeting exciting species such as Fluke, Porgy, Sea Bass, Striped Bass, Bluefish, and more—introducing campers to recreational fishing in the Hamptons.=
- Paddlympic Party: (For larger groups) A day of friendly water competition! Campers team up for kayak tug-of-war, paddle jousting, life jacket relays, and more splash-filled fun on the water.
Fishing the Forks
With the Peconic Estuary system at our door and Shinnecock Bay just a short boat ride away, we have access to some of the finest fishing on the east coast. Our Coast Guard inspected 33' tour boat provides a stable platform to get us out there, on the fish, and back to home port safely and comfortably.
Kayak Excursions
Our Kayak excursions are what we are most known for!
Our routes take us through some of the most pristine wetlands on the east end, on the way we stop at Osprey nests, clam bars, and island beaches to explore, catch crabs, pull seine nets and beach comb for natures gifts.
This experience is what East End Explorer was founded on.
Get your feet wet, hands dirty, minds blown!
Boat Excursions
Our 33' tour boat provides a stable platform to get us to the far reaches of the bays and hidden shores to explore and back to home port safely and comfortably. (4 person minimum)
Nature Birthday PArties
Celebrate your birthday with friends out on the water with East End Explorer! We can do paddle parties, hands on with animal, fishing trips for larger groups, Paddlympics parties and more.
